Love and Information

12 June 2015 – 04 July 2015 Merlyn Theatre

Malthouse Theatre, Sydney Theatre Company,

Theatre Co-Production

In Love and Information, Churchill gives us a unique snapshot of the modern era. Like a single beam of light refracted, her many characters each reveal a different facet of the human condition. In a series of vignettes, we glimpse the lives of over a hundred characters – a child who cannot feel pain, a man who has a secret, a woman who wants an affair. Threading it all together is a profound curiosity about human nature, consciousness and the future.

Toured to the Wharf Theatre as part of Sydney Theatre Company's 2015 season (9 July - 15 August).

"A WORK THAT SO INGENIOUSLY AND EXHAUSTIVELY MIRRORS OUR AGE OF THE SPLINTERED ATTENTION SPAN. THROUGHOUT HER CAREER, WHICH COVERS MORE THAN FOUR DECADES, [CHURCHILL] HAS PROVED HERSELF WITHOUT PEER."
