The Big Con

Max Gillies, with singer-songwriter Eddie Perfect, presents various talking heads - including PM John Howard, US President George 'Dubya' Bush and British PM Tony Blair - at the annual conference of Australian think tank the Centre for Independent Analysis.

The show was first performed at the Sydney Opera House in 2004 (17 November - 11 December). It then had a season at the ANZ Pavilion in Melbourne (15 March - 3 April, 2005) before transferring to the Merlyn Theatre. It subsequently toured to The Playhouse in Canberra (10-14 May) and Brisbane Powerhouse (22 June - 2 July).
